ARRL AView is meant to be used as a replacement for the older viewer software included with QST View. AView will work correctly with all of your QST View sets.

Upgrading from the QST View software to AView: uninstalling the older viewer software is not necessary. If you do want to uninstall the older QST View software, simply delete its folder (installed to c:\qst by default) and icons.

Installing AView for the first time: you only need to complete this installation. We recommend against running setup.exe on the Installation disc of each QST View set.

AView can be used with your current QST View collection as well as any future QST View sets you may purchase. To make these sets available from AView, you need to tell AView about them. This can be done two ways: at the appropriate screen during this installation select all of the QST View sets you own. Alternatively, run AView and select the File | Preferences menu item, click the CD-ROMs tab, and check off the QST View CDs you have available. You will then be able to use AView to browse, display and print all of the QST View sets you have.
