Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Review
Of the "Trilogy" (Episodes IV: A New Hope, V: The Empire Strikes Back, and VI: Return of the Jedi), I think A New Hope has the best story, by far, which is what I enjoy most about the movie. Special effects, the space theme and medieval ideas are cool, but the story is what pulls me in.
There are a few times when Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) gets far too whiney and I wish that Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness) would pull out his light saber and teach him a lesson.
I should probably note that I don't really care whether I'm watching the original film or the 1997 reissue. I think the changes are all pretty minor (even the whole "Han shooting first" thing), and none of it really changes the story.
