Wooden Signs and Decorated Tiles
Once again I come up 3 months late posting my news and photos, but better late than never, right?
In August, I took a long weekend and visited Lynette in Minnesota, who I met working as a security officer at the Mall of America while attending North Central University. Anyway, it had been way too long since we last saw each other (my wedding as a matter of fact) so I packed my bags and flew out there.
Lynette took me to this cool store called the General Store of Minnetonka. We shopped for a bit, and Lynette was looking at the signs that they had all over. I don't exactly remember how the idea came up, but we went to the hardware store to buy wood, tiles, and supplies to create our own signs (and we weren't going to spend $40+ on each one). And who am I to give up the opportunity for some crafting?
So we sanded, spray-painted, and stenciled.... invited a few friends over and had a barbeque...
And voila! There are only a few of the projects that we did. Unfortunately it got very late and very dark to take pictures of everyone's work.
