Ratatouille Review

We saw Pixar's Ratatouille over the weekend, and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was definitely better than Cars, and much better than the other movies we saw this summer (Spider-man 3, Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End).

As always, the animation was fantastic--Pixar never disappoints there! The story was entertaining, though quite predictable. What was a little disappointing, though, is that the movie wasn't really all that funny. I mean, we laughed, but there weren't any huge laughs that made us fall out of our seats, like with Pixar's other movies. The "best movie of the summer" acclaim Ratatouille is receiving is well-earned.
