American Idol Season 2008

Aside from watching a few episodes of American Idol over the years, I did watch most of the final 12 in the season that Taylor Hicks won. Working with teenagers now, though, I thought that I would give the show another shot.

I have watched all of the audition shows and I wanted to comment that I like that Paula only seemed "altered" in one episode. I feel that when she has it together, she has constructive criticism for contestants and brings authentic emotion to the mix. In my opinion, Simon has also been more appealing

One complaint that I do have is that these weeks of audition episodes are just TOO long, especially since they are extended with cheesy montages.
