Kung Fu Panda Review

The Kung Fu Panda story isn't particularly original, but it does a great job of throwing in a few twists to make it more interesting. A lot of the script made me laugh out loud, too, with unexpected jokes (like "You had the noodle dream!?") and sight gags that weren't overdone (like Po the Panda bouncing down the steps).

I think the opening sequence--a dream--set the movie up really well. Po is having a dream about being a kung fu warrior that is simply over-the-top, approaching absurdity, thanks to great narration: "...it is said that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!"

Worth seeing.
