It’s Official!

Today I signed my contract for my first teaching job! I'm going to be teaching seventh grade life science at Vernon Center Middle School. I'm taking the place of a teacher who is taking a one year family leave, but I'm sure that doors will open for me next year if I need to move on to another position in 2009-2010.

School (for teachers) starts on August 28th, and students will arrive after Labor Day. Curriculum includes the cell, human body, food preservation, and ecology- all excellent topics!
