National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Review

There are several classic movies everyone thinks of when Christmas season rolls around, and for us I think National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is the first we think of. Christmas Vacation has so many memorable scenes and quotable lines:

• Finding and putting up the Christmas tree (“Lot of sap in here. Looks great! Little full, lot of sap.”)
• Hanging up the Christmas lights (“…a little knot here. You can work on that.”)
• The neighbors (“Where do you think you’re gonna put a tree that big?” “Bend over and I’ll show you.”)

Ok, that list could go on for the whole movie: Christmas dinner, burning up the tree, Eddie, the SWAT team…

Perhaps most importantly, this is when Chevy Chase was funny!
