Wanted Review
Wanted is an action movie that pushes gunplay and assasination pretty far beyond believable. It’s done in a fun way to watch, but the physics are laughable. A focus of the movie is that a shooter can curve the bullet around objects. I liked that idea and it was fun to see it used throughout.
Spoiler ahead: On the other hand, using the loom and fate to find names of people to assassinate seems absolutely ludicrous to me! I can’t imagine that all of the generations of the Fraternity simply accept that. Then, to find that the binary code of the loom mis-stitches actually spell names all the time, I felt that part of the movie jumped from ludicrous to stupidly unbelievable.
I also thought that the movie felt a lot like a combination between Fight Club (dark humor, dialog) and The Matrix (action).
