Bored and trying to avoid work…

I found this spider that had constructed a web on our back patio. I don’t know if I’ve seen one that big in a while, so I was intrigued by it. Plus, I could stop working on my unit plan and stuff that just seems boring at the moment. So, I was able to get this photo of it. Not very good, but the little booger kept running around. I have identified it as a garden spider. If I’m wrong, let me know.
