Dark-eyed Junco on ice

Everything was coated by ice after one of this winter’s big storms. Work was pressing, but I wanted to grab one or two shots to remember it by.

Of course, the birds still came around looking for food. It was funny to see some of them actually slipping on the ice as they tried to land on the branches. This junco managed to hold on somehow while waiting for a turn at the feeder.
