CSI: The Moose Case, at EcoTarium

This might have been my favorite exhibit at EcoTarium: a pair of male moose skulls and antlers. What’s special about these is that this is how it was found: with the antlers locked together. The theory is that these two moose got into a fight over territory or females. During the fight they got their antlers tangled together and couldn’t get untangled. They probably starved to death.
