Mystic Seaport

A few weekends ago we visited Mystic Seaport and took advantage of their free educator weekend. Patrick enjoyed exploring the boats and going to lower decks, as well as looking through the assorted buildings in the “town.” One of the things we enjoyed during our 2009 visit was exploring the Morgan, a whaling ship. It’s in the process of being restored, however, and only a small portion of it was open this time which was a little disappointing. But, the weather was nice and we had fun seeing the rest of the seaport, so it was a good trip.
