Racing the Micro Drifters

Patrick has been very excited about Pixar Cars “Micro Drifters” lately. As he’ll tell anybody who will listen, these are little cars with a ball bearing in them, and that’s how they drift. The wheels don’t move.

The track itself is rather disappointing — it’s not slick enough for the cars to roll fast on (like in the commercials) and they get stuck along the track. We have been propping it up to higher angles to get some speed, and eliminating a section of track to also cause steeper angles. But, Patrick likes them even though they are slow.
