We went to the Amherst Railroad Hobby Show over the weekend to look at all of the model trains. I only snapped two photos of things that grabbed me at the show: the big G scale train station where Nikon cameras were being delivered (above), and the old broken-down roundhouse (below).
Patrick used some Christmas and birthday money to buy some box cars and a small train station. The station was a plastic kit that we assembled. He did a great job using the side cutters to clip all of the pieces apart, then we snapped it all together. I also got a steam locomotive to replace a 25+ year old locomotive that is simply worn out. All HO scale, mostly to be set up at Christmas time to run around our tree.
