Eastern Cottontail Rabbit

A rabbit has run through our yard a few times this spring. It’s a big eastern cottontail — pushing two foot long, I’d say. I grabbed the camera to get some shots of it. I was able to work my way out the back door, onto the porch, onto the steps, and sat on the bottom step for a while taking pictures of it, about 25’ away. I eventually moved into the yard a little, and the rabbit eventually came towards me, too — I was able to get full-frame shots of him, at about 15’, as you can see above. We both got bored after a few minutes and left.
