Upper Bolton Lake, Part 2

I’ve paddled Upper Bolton Lake many times. This year I’ve been there twice already. It’s a great destination — quiet, pristine, and full of wildlife. The drawback to this location is that it’s very shallow — even early in spring much of it is only a foot or so deep and plenty is barely passable at only a few inches deep.
