There are several bodies of water at Bigelow Hollow State Park, and Bigelow Pond is a small pond close to the entrance. The launch area is very nice and there are many fisherman there (both from shore and boat), however it’s only 3/4-mile long and a few hundred feet wide. It’s not somewhere I’m likely to myself, however it’s a great spot to take Patrick. We can look for fish (the water is mostly shallow), paddle around the three islands (two of which we can get out and explore), and the rest of the park gives him a chance to burn up any excess energy.
