While on vacation we took a ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad. We did the shorter one hour Valley trip and rode in an open air car. The car was nice, and we learned on the way back that the seat backs could move from side to side, making it easy to turn around for the return trip. The Valley ride is nothing special as far as the views go (running through the town of Conway past businesses, a school, and some residences, with a few views of the White Mountains). It was a fun ride, though the Notch train sounds like the one to do if time and children allow.
