Celebrating Christmas

We did badly this year, and took no photos at Christmastime. So, a summary: We visited Sherree's family on Sunday, December 19. On Friday, the 24th, I got up at 6:00 am to start preparing a beef brisket. My parents and Grammy came to enjoy the afternoon with us; the brisket was ready at about 5:00 pm (having been smoked for almost 9 hours). Christmas day we got to sleep in a little. Then on Sunday, the 26th, we were supposed to go to my parent's house to visit and meet up with my Uncle Barry, Aunt Linda and cousins Aubrey and Brandon, but that didn't quite work out--a snowstorm stopped them from coming, and we kept the visit relatively short.
