Sherree’s Hand Surgery
For the past few months Sherree has been having some trouble with pain in her right wrist. This morning she had surgery on her hand for DeQuervain's Release Syndrome, which is apparently a form of tendonitis. It's a minor surgery that only took about 20 minutes, and we were in and out of the hospital in only two hours.
Sherree's in a little pain now, but not enough to take the Oxycodone that was prescribed. She's got the rest of the week off to recover, and starts physical therapy tomorrow (which will last for five weeks). Tomorrow the bandage gets removed and there'll be a small band-aid in its place. She's also got some antibiotics to help.
