We saw Cathy Rigby as Peter Pan

I bought tickets to Peter Pan at The Bushnell for Alanna (my eight-year-old sister) last year, and we finally got to experience it today. I think that I may have been more excited about it than she was, but she said that she, "liked it very much."

I should add that Dan bought the DVD of Cathy Rigby as Peter Pan some time ago, and every time Alanna visits she requests to watch it. Most of the play was familiar to me; I could even tell when jokes/lines were cut out and new choreography was inserted.

All of the actors did a fantastic job though, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. Alanna's favorite parts included when Peter was flying back and forth across the stage when he is escorting the Darling children to Neverland. She later told me that her other favorite parts included the few times the crocodile came on stage to chase Captain Hook away. I must say that I always enjoy the Ugg-a-Wugg dance number and I thought that the pirate ship scenery was incredible.

I know that the tour only has a few more months, but if you get the opportunity to see the show, you have to go!
