Beardsley Zoo, Crazy Hair Night and Let’s Get Cooking
Here it is--the Girl Scout Troop 6213 year in review. Several of these pictures are featured in the year end slideshow Dan was so gracious to put together for our leader dinner. As you will see, our Junior Girl Scouts had a great year! Enjoy!

Our first event of the year was a trip to the Beardsley Zoo in August 2004. The girls who came earned their Wildlife badge. As we were leaving the zoo, they were evacuating the park due to a tornado warning! We had a terrible drive home, but I think the girls that attended enjoyed themselves.
During our meeting on September 28, 2004, the girls had a Crazy Hair Night which we had scheduled to coincide with the Looking Your Best badge. They got pretty creative!
A few weeks later we had a cooking night at our apartment to go along with the Let's Get Cooking badge. The girls made a breakfast dish in the oven, chili in the microwave, and desserts. I was so involved in cooking I forgot to take more photos, but I have these two.
