The girls worked very hard to put on a Kooky Science Night for the brownies in our service unit in December. Brownies came and earned two science-related Try-Its in one night as they rotated through stations. It was a big success!

In February, the girls attended a Bag a Badge for the Business Wise badge. This event was offered as a UFO (Utterly Fun Opportunity) by the CT Trails Council. The girls learned the basics of business structure and were given the opportunity to run their own operation manufacturing pens.
Every year in March our service unit has a Powderpuff Derby. It's a lot like the Pinewood Derby the Cub Scouts do. Teagan was the only girl from our troop to enter this year, and she placed 5th in her age group. Congratulations!
Dan and I also entered the leader race. I placed 6th while he placed 4th with his take on the Grease Lightning car. More on our cars and the race can be found here.
