The Goonies Review

I think just about every boy growing up in the 80's loved The Goonies, and I was no exception. It's a movie that still holds up well (from a youthful point of view) with lots of funny parts, good action, and an exciting story. Hunting for buried treasure is something we all did at one time or another, and this story just elevated that idea to meet the excitement we always imagined, including lots of bad guys, "booty" traps, and opportunity to save the world. (Well, the family, anyway.)

And who could forget Sloth--what a character!
