We Need A “No Singing” Section

In restaurants, I'd like a "no singing" section, just like the "no smoking" section. In that area no staff can come parading through with a birthday cake, singing whatever off-key, meal-interrupting, generally-obnoxious birthday song that chain restaurant forces their employees and diners to suffer through. Wouldn't that be nice?

On a related note, neither Sherree nor I understand the great attraction to Olive Garden: the food's just not that good. We're obviously the exception, though, because of the three (?) times I've been there, I think the wait has always been at least 40 minutes.
