Heroes Review

I've been watching Heroes since the first episode, and I'm always left dying to know what happens next. The show does a great job of creating many mysteries and questions, and then a few weeks later actually answering them. You get to learn a lot more about the characters and their environment that way. Just for comparison's sake, I'd say I'm as excited about Heroes as I was about Battlestar Galactica (that's not to say that BSG isn't still great; it's just not the new kid anymore).

Without a doubt, Hiro is my favorite character. His personality just makes him very interesting: he wants to use his ability to help and save the world, but he doesn't know how. He wants his friend Ando along for companionship and the experience, but he doesn't want him (or anyone else) to get hurt. Most intriguingly, he's glimpsed the future (both the explosion and his future self), but struggles with what he has to do to get there. I'm excited to see what will happen now that he's got the Kensei sword, but this hiatus until late April is terrible!
