Today’s Snow Storm

Last night and this morning when we saw the weather, a big storm was predicted. 5-10 inches between this afternoon and evening. I got ready for work this morning and drove in. I was a bit surprised to see it start snowing around 10:30 am, and by 11:00 the roads were well-covered. Since the prediction was that it would quickly get worse, I decided to leave at noon. Unfortunately, so did everyone else, and it took me nearly two-and-a-half hours to get home. Sigh. I don't know why I didn't think about it more, but I shouldn't have bothered going in today. I could have made better use of my time. Oh well.

Update: The snow's about stopped. Sherree measures it at 8.5 inches.
