This Year’s Thanksgiving Menu is Finalized!

Normally Dan and I stay home on Thanksgiving and have our usual cornish hen feast. (See 2007, 2006, 2005, and 2004.) This year Dan’s parents, as well as his brother Chris, fiancee Debbie, and baby Amber, will be coming up to celebrate with us. I think that I have finally gotten the menu in order, and I thought that I would share in case you came in search of something yummy to make for your own Thanksgiving.

I am planning to make:

• Rosemary and Thyme Roasted Cornish Game Hens
• Twice Baked Potatoes
• Brussel Sprouts with Pancetta
• Stuffing-stuffed ‘Shrooms from the latest edition of Everyday with Rachael Ray
• Corn niblets
• Cranberry sauce
• Rolls
• Pecan pie and apple pie from Lyman Orchards
• Serious vanilla ice cream

I will say that I take some liberties with the recipes to make them a little bit tastier. What are you making this year?
