Takeshita Street in Harajuku

Takeshita street in Harajuku is filled with small independent clothiers as well as a few chains. It’s considered a place where new fads are developed, and some designers seed their wares there. I’m not one for fashion but it was exciting to see so much activity and such a variety in the stores. Of course, it’s a great spot for people-watching and to see the fashion statements being made.
