Fixing the Fence

Our back yard is fenced in, but this gate is trouble. The post angled so hard that the gate wouldn’t latch, so we just used some planter pots to hold it closed. It worked well enough to keep our dog Brick in, but I knew I’d need a permanent solution. On Saturday the dog showed that he could get it open! So, I dug out around the post, swung the backhoe around to push it upright, then packed the dirt back in. Ta-da, no more dog disappearing acts!
