Dan’s Scouting Career

I've been in Scouts practically my whole life--about 22 years. I should fill out another Veteran Award application. (The link is to a .pdf on MeritBadge.com

• 9/1983 - 9/1984, as a Tiger Cub with Pack 23 in Middletown, CT.
• 9/1984 - 6/1987, as a Cub Scout with Pack 23 in Middletown, CT. I earned the Arrow of Light there.
• 6/1987 - 8/1988, as a Boy Scout with Troop 41 in Middletown, CT. We moved to Bozrah and had to find a new Troop.
• 9/1988 - 5/1992, as a Boy Scout with Troop 77 in Bozrah, CT. I had some problems at T77 and had to find a new Troop.
• 5/1992 - 5/1994, as a Boy Scout with Troop 60 in Oakdale, CT. I turned 18 in 1994; the highest rank I earned was Star.
• 5/1994 - 1/1998, as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 60 in Oakdale, CT. I took a break from Scouting for a while after this.
• 12/1998 - 1/2001, as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 60 in Oakdale, CT. I completed Scoutmaster Fundamentals training in 1999.
• 1/2001 - 2/2003, as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 16 in Middletown, CT. Sherree and I moved to Middletown, so I found a new Troop.
• 3/2003 - 4/2004, as Scoutmaster of Troop 16 in Middletown, CT. I was the fill-in Scoutmaster while the "real" one was over in Iraq. I took a break from Scouting again.
• 10/2004 - present, as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 29 in Bristol, CT.
