Shibuya

We visited Shibuya in Japan, which is a popular spot for nightlife and people-watching. Perhaps the most interesting thing here was the large six-way intersection, shown above. Cars and trucks drove through the intersection as expected. Pedestrians had to wait until all traffic stopped before walking — and that was the amazing part: people completely swarmed the intersection in a matter of seconds. I’ve not seen anything like it before.

Walking through Shibuya was a great combination of interesting signs, stores, and activity. Of course, this was also where we found Pablo and their amazing cheese tarts!
