Recipe #18 - Spicy Carolina Sauce

Real Simple Magazine had a page with various sauce recipes in their June 2013 issue that I’ve kept for some time now. The Spicy Carolina Sauce looked promising so I make it to top some steak. I used some leftover sauce over some grilled chicken for lunch one day.

The picture of the sauce in the magazine and on the website is red, and I’m not sure why. It is definitely a mustard-based sauce. The sauce was ok- maybe a little heavy on the mustard. It’s not something that I’m keeping as there are many other mustard sauce recipes we have that are yummier.
