Photo Challenge, Day 2

I grabbed the 20mm lens today. 20mm is quite wide but I find it to be a very workable wide angle, and it’s my favorite wide perspective. Wide enough to be clearly wide and introduce some fun perspective distortion but not so wide that it’s hard to work with.

I cheated a little yesterday, seeing a few shots I would like to try to take with the 20mm lens along our normal route. Today Patrick decided to come with Brick and I so we decided to drive over to the park to walk some different trails. I realized after we parked that my plan to try to take some shots I saw yesterday wouldn’t work out; perhaps for the best, though, because Patrick and I had a lot of fun exploring some different areas of the park. In this photo Patrick is taking a closer look at a tree that a beaver fell.
